The Young Wings Cancellation Policy - Terms & Conditions
General This cancellation policy applies to all vacations organized by The Young Wings from [insert effective date]. Customers eligible for refunds will receive their refund within 90 working days from the date of cancellation or when the supplier processes the refund, whichever is later. For on-trip cancellations, refunds will be processed within 90 working days from the return date or when the supplier processes the refund, whichever is later. Refund amounts may change based on international exchange rates, refunds from suppliers, and payments received from customers. Any changes will be communicated by your designated account manager.
Flights
- Flights marked as “Non-Refundable” will not be eligible for a refund.
- For “Refundable” flights, refunds will follow the details in the “Cancellation Policy” section of the product and the final itinerary emailed to you.
- Refund amounts may vary based on international exchange rates.
- The Young Wings is not responsible for issues related to grounded, cancelled, or delayed flights. Cancellation requests must be directed to the respective airlines.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring their passport has at least 1-year validity and is in good condition. Refunds will not be issued for boarding issues due to invalid passports.
- Customers should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before boarding. The Young Wings is not liable for missed flights due to late arrivals.
- If airport transfers are arranged, cancellations due to delays from unforeseen circumstances are not the responsibility of The Young Wings.
- Baggage limitations will be provided in the final travel vouchers, and any excess baggage fees must be paid at check-in.
- Certain airlines may require web check-in. Additional costs for non-compliance are the customer’s responsibility.
- Meal preferences can be set upon request, but meal availability and quality are controlled by the airline.
Hotels
- Hotels marked as “Non-Refundable” are not eligible for refunds.
- Refunds for “Refundable” hotels will be processed as per the “Cancellation Policy” section and the final itinerary.
- Refund amounts may be affected by international exchange rates.
- The Young Wings cannot be held responsible for hotel service issues or room quality. Additional costs for upgrades or amenities during your stay will be the customer's responsibility.
- Any hotels changed during the trip will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Early check-in or late check-out requests depend solely on hotel discretion, and cancellations cannot be processed if these requests are not granted.
Activities
- Activities marked as “Non-Refundable” will not be eligible for refunds.
- Refundable activities will follow the terms stated in the “Cancellation Policy” and the final itinerary.
- Refund amounts may vary based on international exchange rates.
Transfers Refunds and timelines for all transfers will follow the “Cancellation Policy” and the final itinerary.
Visa & Insurance
- The Young Wings facilitates Visa applications and provides guidance on requirements. The decision to grant or reject a Visa is at the discretion of the embassy, and we are not responsible for rejected applications. Visa fees are non-refundable if an application is rejected.
- The Young Wings is not liable for changes in Visa requirements during processing.
- Insurance once purchased is subject to a 100% cancellation fee and is non-refundable.
